He believes that the subject requires a lot of critical thinking in handling examination questions, instead of merely memorizing the many Physics equations. Hence, he chooses to emphasise on understanding the key concepts during his classes and training his students in critical thinking skills to prepare them for their examinations.

Mr. Max has always believed that knowledge should not be compartmentalized into different fields - just as how Physics should not be cut off from Biology, Chemistry or any other subject - and this is exactly how Mr. Max conducts his lessons.
