Lessons were generally effective in terms of broadening my perspectives in certain topics taught. The evaluation skills taught were quite useful when writing essays. I find that the skills on how to tackle Paper 1 were also useful and were clearly taught. I also got to practice on essay questions that are less usual and harder to deal with. It would be even better if you can spend more time going through questions that are more common in even greater detail.

Mr Xavier Tong’s GP lessons are well thought and effective. He provides a balanced mix of practice, content and skills development. The content he provides are detailed with examples and relevant for not just essays bubt for application questions as information about Singapore is weaved in. Mr Tong then provides papers relating to the content just taught to further solidify the understanding of the topic, and show how it can be applicable in exams.
